From Documentary Classroom to Public Media Impact
NANNAPHAT SIRIROJ
In this project, I explored the concept of documentary production in public media as part of my studies in Communication Arts, majoring in Broadcasting. I learned that documentaries are not only about presenting facts, but also about telling meaningful stories that can create awareness and impact society.
Through this learning process, I gained knowledge about the key elements of documentary production, including content development, storytelling structure, interviewing techniques, and the use of audio and visuals to convey emotions and messages effectively. I also understood the importance of media ethics, accuracy, and responsibility when presenting real-life stories to the public.
This subject is closely connected to my field of study in broadcasting, where storytelling through sound plays a significant role. Skills such as audio storytelling, communication, and audience engagement are essential for creating impactful media like radio programs and podcasts.
In addition, I used AI tools such as NotebookLM to summarize information and ChatGPT to help generate ideas and refine my content. These tools helped improve my workflow and made the learning process more efficient.
This experience has helped me see a clear connection between what I learn in the classroom and my future career path. In the future, I aim to work as a podcast creator or media producer who creates meaningful content that can inspire and bring positive change to society.
